About the Artist

Anna is a talented seven-year-old living in the Northeastern United States. She spends most of her free time creating her own creations in air dry clay, drawing and painting. With an affinity for monsters since the age of five, her creations are fun, fanciful, and sometimes scary. Anna won her first award in 2023, coming in first place for second grade in the WMJWC district wide Halloween poster competition. Her dream is to be an artist and run her own gallery. With a savvy business sense she set up her own "store" in her home where she started selling sculptures to friends and family at age 5. Realizing she was not getting enough customers she started pressing her parents to help her solve this problem. Her parents helped her set up this website and her very own Etsy store to reach a larger audience and get her creations out to other people who appreciate them.

Sculptures
Anna's favorite medium to work with is air dry clay. She has made well over 100 works to date. recently they have become larger and more complex, sometimes with multiple figures or entire scenes.

Drawings
Anna's drawings tend to be detailed depictions of imaginary scenes. Although usually filled with small figures battling, running or being eaten by monsters, this above work features a singular beast wearing a double set of top hats and capturing a lone figure, upper right.

Paintings
Although not Anna's most favored medium. Her paintings are each unique. This above mixed media work was her first monster creation at age 5.
